PITTSBORO, N.C. - Eleven individuals are among the most recent graduates of the Central Carolina Community College Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program.

The graduates are April Renee Espinoza, Lexiah Payge Gates, James Kiro Georgevich II, Caitlynn Edith Hill, Ryan John Howard, Jaden Nicole Lowe, Benjamin Patrick McGaughnea, Brandon Montoya, Daniel Keith Palmiter, Samantha Raen Parker, and Michael T. Wilson.

A ceremony to honor the graduates was held Feb. 14 at the Central Carolina Community College Chatham Main Campus in Pittsboro, N.C.

Guest speaker was J.H. Jones, Retired, Apex Police Department. Tracy Painter Kelly, 推荐正规买球平台 BLET Program Director, Public Services, awarded graduation certification. Class response was by Samantha Parker, Class Leader. Presentation of Colors was by the Chatham County Honor Guard.

Several of the graduates were recognized for outstanding achievement during their training. They were: Fastest Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) - Chase/ Apprehension - Brandon Montoya; Fastest Police Officers Physical Abilities Test (POPAT) - Rescue - Ryan Howard; Jimmy Collins Top Gun Award - Ryan Howard; Highest Class Average - Michael Wilson; and Highest State Exam - Michael Wilson.

Class sponsors were the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, Lee County Sheriff's Office, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Police Department, and Village of Pinehurst Police Department.
